I have been off and on consistent with my nighttime skincare for years, but when I turned 30 this year I made a resolution to find a true routine and stick with it! Also, I am getting married in a few short months, so it has been really important for me to make sure my skin looks great in our wedding photos! I’m excited to share what has been working for me and hopefully you can take this and make it your own. The biggest change has been adding in my NuFace every day (full post coming soon), it is 5-15 minutes every evening depending on what ‘routine’ I opt to do, but SOOO worth it and what else do we have to do while we’re in quarantine!?!
Prep
First, I take off my makeup (if I am even wearing any that day) with my Makeup Eraser towel. My mom bought me this as a stocking stuffer at Christmas and I use it every. single. day. So easy and it removes even stubborn makeup so I highly, highly recommend.
Next, I use my NuFace device- I have the Trinity which I probably could have bought the mini version but I wanted the option to buy the attachments in the future if needed. If you don’t know, a NuFace device is a microcurrent toning device that basically gives a workout to your face to smooth and lift your skin. You have to be consistent with it, but I have taken before/after photos and definitely notice a difference. I have read you can use other primers for the device, but so far I have only used the NuFace brand and liked it… apparently it is filled with hyaluronic acid so it’s hydrating, but I normally just wipe off and move on with the rest of my skincare.
After the NuFace facial, I use my Thayer’s Rose Toner which is super gentle and light. Just a quick swipe with a cotton ball and I know my skin is prepped for my serums and moisturizer.
Serums
Once my skin in totally clean, I use what Sunday Riley has dubbed the ‘Power Couple.’ I start with a full dropper of the Sunday Riley Luna Night Oil…it is a deep blue color so you just press it in until it’s totally absorbed into your skin. Luna has retinol in it, so it helps with fine lines and texture. Next, I layer on Sunday Riley Good Genes which is a lactic acid treatment. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Good Genes and notice a huge difference in brightness, smoothness and overall appearance of my skin when I use this. Good Genes can be used day or night, but Luna should only be used at night since it contains retinol.
Moisture
So after my serums sink in I lock everything in with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream which is just super silky and moisturizing but not greasy. I have also been loving the Fresh Lotus Eye Gel because it’s rich but light and doesn’t sting my eyes.
Last, but not least, I love to add a layer of the Laniege Lip Sleeping Mask as the final bit of moisture. This ensures I never really have chapped lips and feels so good. I have the vanilla now, but I have used cherry in the past and really like both!
I know this sounds a bit high maintenance, but it is so worth it! Sweet dreams! xo

You use your nuface every night? That seems like such a big commitment, what happens if you miss a day?
Also, what do you feel like it helps with most? I want one, but i’m torn since theyre $$$$$.
Hi Ashley!
I use it 5x a week… for the first 60-90 days you should do 5x a week and then it’s fine to switch to 2-3 days per week. It is like a workout for your face so nothing happens instantly if you miss a day but you need to be consistent if you want to see results! For me, I’ve noticed some definite lifting especially noticeable on my forehead and under eye area. I was also torn because of the cost, but I’m so happy I went with it!! Hope that helps!! 💗💗💗
