My girlfriends threw me the most fun bachelorette party in Saugatuck, Michigan this weekend! The family of one of my best friend’s from high school has a beautiful house in Saugatuck where she graciously hosted the party. I am going to share a whole Saugatuck travel guide later this week, but I wanted to kick things off with some fun photos from the trip and share some essentials that every bride-to-be needs to bring on her own bachelorette trip!
The Details
My friends should be party planners… the details and decorations for my party were over the top! I had no idea we were even doing a theme, but they thought it would be cute to #LastSailBeforetheVeil since we were vacationing on Lake Michigan. It turned out beautifully… here’s a few of my favorites including the delicious boozy brunch they hosted on Saturday morning!
Bachelorette Favors
I wanted to gift the girls a few fun surprises that they would actually want and not just another tote bag filled with knick-knacks. The personalized straw baskets were a lot smaller than I thought they would be, but they were a great size to use as a purse or for the essentials when we went to the beach for the day!

What to Pack
To give yourself the whole bridal look, I think it’s fun to pack only white! Here are some of my favorites that I packed and a few extras that are super cute too! This year it was actually kind of hard to find white dresses, but these are so fun and easy to dress up a bit with some glam accessories!
Pro tip: an ice roller is absolutely essential… everyone used it in the morning to de-puff after a night out!
