I was never a big reader growing up, but over the past couple of years I have really started to enjoy it- mainly because I’m finding the right books! My friends and I started a book club (#BoozyBookworms) and we’ve have had a chance to read a ton of books from all sorts of genres. Currently, we’re reading ‘American Dirt’ by Jeanine Cummins– it’s about a Mexican family in Acapulco on a journey to build a better life.
So far this year, I’ve finished 18 books but these were my favorites on the list: ‘Such a Fun Age’ by Kiley Reid, ‘When I Was You’ by Minka Kent, ‘Save Me the Plums’ by Ruth Reichl and ‘The Stationary Shop’ by Marjan Kamali!
If you follow me on Goodreads, you can see my TBR list is getting pretty long, but summer is the perfect time to pick up a good book to read by the pool or enjoying some sun in the backyard! Here’s what I have on my summer reading list – a big mix from some thrillers to an autobiography to a Pulitzer Prize winner. Enjoy!!
